diameter.
Obverse: two advancing soldiers, one
carrying a gun, the other North Korean banner; in the
background there is a soviet T-34 tank and two flying planes
above.
Reverse: medal's name in two rows and the
years 950-953 below; above the name there is a small five
pointed star.
Ribbon: 34 mm, red with a central blue
stripe (5 mm) flanked by narrower white ones (2 mm).
